    Why did “Inspiring Non-Jewish Music” get closed?

    Could we continue it on condition no one uses specific names of Goyish’e songs?

    I think there’s a difference between types of music. Inherently, some types of music are harmful, and some types are inspiring. I think this is true for much of what goes by the name “Jewish” music as well, even songs composed by frum people.

    The very idea of Jews being inspired by goyish music, r”l. The mechaber had the right idea about music. Our mikdosh lies in ruins.
