…the sound that immediately follows havdala is the “click” of your computer’s switch as you check the latest posts

…six hours before havdala, you think “if I were in Israel, I could be posting”

…YWN is your homepage

…when you refer to certain names in conversation, no explanation is needed

…the only words that get you to shut down the computer are “I’m lighting candles”

…you won’t eat before davening, but you will check the latest posts

…you spend time responding to silly threads

…..when squeak is trying way to hard, when he could simply ask Joseph to lunch.

…when every sentence begins “I read on YWN…”

I think more people need to get lives! (me included)

…When you go to sleep thinking about your conversations on ywn and wondering why on earth you spend so much time arguing with people you don’t even know… and then doing the same thing again the next day.

…when temporary loss of Internet access is a major tragedy because you just KNOW someone responded to your post and you have to read it!

…when you log on Motzei Shabbos knowing the freshest post will be 20 hours old since it’s still Shabbos in NY, but you’re disappointed anyway.

…when your roommate asks why you bother arguing with anonymous people on the Internet and you have no good response, but you just can’t stop doing it.

…when you do the usual read-through of your post before pressing send and realize you have just listed all the reasons why you need to get a life.

I guess you know you havent been on YWN for way too long when you finally come back and have no hasaga of what’s going on in the coffe room!! i guess thats the point when you know b4 hand you were on WAY too much. Its good to be back… I feel like I missed out on some good threads and am too tired to go and read through everything now!!!
