Thats the message Ive been getting on a different Username. I thought I was allowed more than one Username. Whats the problem?

popa: what do you mean they don’t let? how would they know if you are using a different email address? you can’t even get another screen name on the same email address so you would have to use a diff one and nobody would know.
I don’t really think you have a good reason to have more than 1 username other than to argue with yourself in various threads or confuse the other members of the CR with unnecessary arguments. Stick to 1 username and be yourself. We’ll all be much happier.
gefen – It`s called IP address. And besides it’s not hard to point out members with two SN’s.

I thought (but could totally be wrong about this) that it was once mentioned that a poster is allowed to have 2 screen names if one is to post “sensitive” stuff and they do not wish for others to find out who they are etc.
Note- just because I am saying this, it does not mean that I have 2 screen names. I do NOT!!! And don’t plan on making a new one anytime in the near future.
Really? I have more screen names than voices in my head!One for each hour of the day I spend on my computer since I’m unemployed. Mods, stop blocking my screen names! How am I supposed to stalk without them!
Why would you want/need 2 screen names?
I don’t understand why the same IP address can’t get more than one username. Often there is more than one person using the same ip address and want different usernames. Many times people here get hysterical if one user seems to be different people when there are in fact more than one person using the some username because YWN doesn’t allow more than one.

If the IP address has something to do with which computer you’re using, then I say it still doesn’t matter. My husband and kids have their own screen names from their emails and we’re all on the same computer.
gefen- They were probably suspicious at first, but over time they realized you were all different people and that you weren’t arguing between yourselves in threads so they let you go.
gefen – IP isn’t even from the same computer. Its from the same internet connection.

You asked if I have a job? Well, I could be a kid in school, or a granny in a nursing home. In any event, I’d rather be out of a job, than having your job which is mocking people in a public forum.
