About the comparison with French soldiers I think that it is a completely different thing to have an army which exists (according to its own mission statements) to defend jews around the world and to have a french soldier who happens to be defending a jew who happens to live in an area which he is fighting for for reasons completely not connected to jews or jewdeism

Gavra_at_work sorry I didn’t realize that you were being sarcastic in your comment without lots of previous knowledge about these fourms its not easy to spot sarcasm in a written post. About the “@” ot may be a little outdated but I’ve seen it used as shorthand alot on inrernet blogs as a way to adress previous posts by the username of the poster

@gavra_at_work I find your comment quite offensive. Do you actually belive that the worst thing a “bum” can do with his time is spend it defending his brothers and sisters. It is disturbing that someone would risk their life fighting to defend yours and instead of thanking them you call them a “bum”

At chalilavches, I purposely didn’t elaborate on my reason for “going off” so as not to detract from the point of my post, but it is because of difficulty beliving in religion from a logical standpoint

@live right they know I am serving in the idf they just think that I am religious while I am not. @jewishfeminist I feel it is important that I share my lifestyle choices with the ones who raised me. @rebdoniel very interesting story but I stand behind my decision to live secularly and I belive it is possible to raise a happy and healthy family without religion. @ from long island thanx and they are not coming to visit anytime soon

Good luck and just remember not to get caught up in all the ridiculous questions about the type of tablecloth and dishes your possible inlaws use or what kind of head coverings the guy wears. And avoid paying to much attention to what everyone else thinks of your possible match. In the end its up to you and your date wether or not you are right for each other,
