    Avi K and Doniel,

Did Rav Soloveichik’s view on mechitzas include Shabbos ‘microphones’ in use by Orthodox Shul ? Are the microphones developed by the Zomet Institute really approved for Shabbos use? http://www.zomet.org.il/Eng/?CategoryID=251&ArticleID=116&Page=1

writersoul – There won’t be any handicapped people when Moshiach comes. Everyone will be healed like at Har Sinai. So why the need for wheelchair accessibility?

Well, if her husband says, “Everyone back in the car. We need to go already!” and her five children are running in line behind her saying, “Mommy, I need another drink!” a mother should know that if she does not care of herself, nobody else will take care of herself for her. Enjoy that drink of water! It will be very refreshing! Only don’t ask to stop for the bathroom again in ten minutes!

Did anyone google how many germs are there in a water fountain? Or can you really get sick from drinking from one?

    Dear Always Runs Fast,

I once read that children who act out have bodies that are too small to contain such great neshomos. May you have much yiddishe nachas from your children when they grow up. I guess mdg knows you are not married, because if you are, isn’t it more of a mitzvah for a father to have ahavas yisroel for his wife and stay home once in a while from shul and daven at home in order to help out his wife? Doesn’t it matter more that his wife stay sane? Is there any way you can get a high school or seminary girl or lonely bubby to help you for a while in the evenings so you can have at least a half hour to yourself? Wish you the best of luck (and a nearby Bubby – my grandchildren are just as active but we live in different cities)

If you like medicine or like working with people, why not consider nursing school? It’s shorter. It’s in demand. It is easier to get into. It has shorter working hours. What is the difference between having a male nurse and a male doctor?

Hashem had make-up come down with the mann I learned. It is a mitzvah for a lady to look nice, especially for her husband. And as scrisis put it, a Jewish lady should not look ‘washed out.’

If they are in your area, Trader Joe- cherry chocolate chip ice cream is pareve and delicious!

Aldi Stores has pas yisroel Benton’s cookies that do not state ‘pas yisroel’ on the label and they are much less expensive than pas yisroel brands you might find elsewhere.

I forgot what company makes it (maybe Pillsbury?) but in the frozen isle of major supermarkets there are apple turnovers that need baking that are delicious
