Rav Wosner says mentions in a psak that Driving is like “????? ?????” which is asur.
As we find by Rivka emainu that she was a tzanua when traveling with Eliezer…
Although there might be nothing unmodest about driving a car, a vehicle is definitely a man’s domain. (the same way a moped, scooter, bike, etc. is)
Bottom line, tzniyus is required at all times and even when riding a car as a passenger (getting in and out…)
It boils down to Kol kevuda bas melech penimah!
There’s a time and place for everything!
L. NormansonMemberI feel very intelligent reading all these comments…
L. NormansonMemberTo the person that remarked that the driver’s action was legal, I agree that not having exact change warrants ‘a no entry'(allthough, I wouldn’t call ‘not having change’ a chilull hashem!). But can you explain to me why running to catch a bus in freezing cold weather is “Breaking the rules”? And having the door slammed in your face is a “Chilull Hashem”? Is this a coommunist country?
Whenever I travel to Israel i’m amazed by the Achdus on the busses, passengers always stick up for each other. If anyone spots a person running towards the bus, they make the driver stop the bus to let them get on! you know what i call that….. A Kiddush Hashem….
