only bring shampoo, soaps, and toiletries like that for the first few days, its not worth shlepping all that since its cheap in israel. anything that you can buy in a cvs here, they sell in a pharmacy there, which they have ALL over! but BRING ENUF DEODORANT FOR THE YEAR! moehr is starting to have a uniform this coming year, so i dont know how itll be then, but when i went it was very chilled. everyone wore whatever they want, some girls wore short skirts every day, some girls wore a top and long slinky skirt and some girls just wore sweatshirts.
they give you your own closed with shelves a room to hang clothing, but dont bring a lot of stuff to hang since theres limited room.

darchei binah is considered a little to the left, as its not officially a bais yaakov seminary, but probably one of the frummest of the non bais yaakov seminaries.
meohr might be the kind of place for you, its a very learning and growth oriented seminary, but not so much academic. they are more than willing to work with the girls and provide free tutoring for when needed.
lemaysa-as for locked internet in seminaries i HOPE that you have a blocked internet yourself, i know i got k9 for my personal home computer, because NO ONE is above it! no one should be able to trust themselves enough that they would be stupid to allow unblocked internet in their homes. seminaries realize they would like to provide email for students, but its easy for anyone to make a mistake, and thats not why girls are in israel, so they block it!
sems dont usually give entrance exams. all sems have a range of girls.. its a spectrum some are frummer some are more modern, so some of the girls from seminar and machon raaya i think would go to chochmas lev, being that i dont know you, i dont know where on the spectrum you fall
most seminary interview you have to read something from the chumash, usually a ramban, some sems give u a few minutes outside to prepare it ex BYA, machon raaya doesnt do that, the advantage of that is though, that they KNOW you havent seen it before and dont expect it to be read perfectly. they ask u to read it, translate it etc. they then proceed to ask u a few things like what kind of sem are you looking for, why are you pulled to them. and they explain their sem, and ask you if you have any questions. just like their checking you out, by the interview your checking them out as well
machon raaya has about 30 girls in it, maybe youd want to consider chochmas lev, thats a larger sem. machon raaya is academic, the girls there are smart, and it is more academic than other place. what do you mean by minimal pressure? it seems like a chilled out sem, my year, the girls were VERY sweet and friendly.
what type is chochmas lev? and how is it different than seminar?
