It is true that Yiddish is spoken internationally, but I can only understand the Yiddish of people who live near me.

But can organizations like Relief Resources be trusted when there is such a stigma about mental health? If someone had a bad experience with them, they wouldn’t tell anyone. They would be ashamed.

But sometimes it’s irrational and still correct, or vice versa.

Syag, you aren’t considering the costs on both sides. I’m not saying your conclusions are wrong, but you need to recognize that every option has a cost.

There’s a man (or was, he’s dead now too) whose neighbor heard shrieking from his house and figured he must have been murdering someone. After the police were called and found that it was indeed the radio, the man was so embarrassed that he couldn’t face anyone anymore. He became so withdrawn that his wife divorced him and took the kids, and there was nobody at home to find him on time after he had the heart attack.

As a former child, I can tell you that children are often not only made to feel personally responsible for themselves, but they are made to feel responsible for everything from their principal’s general well being to the national debt.

Smoking is itself morally wrong, regardless of what you’re smoking. That can be tobacco, or it can be tea leaves. Either way it’s going into my air supply and you’re making me cough. I have no problem with nicotine use in itself.

Pot should be legal. You shouldn’t get to tell other people what to do. It’s a waste of resources to jail people for it.

Being stuck in the 50s is not a good thing. Civil rights and stuff.

OTD is not the same things as drugs, but I think it can be argued that people on drugs lose some of their free will.
