Seichel hatorahParticipantThe reason why no one knows about this issue is because the shellac peels from the retzuah and underneath it is perfectly kosher so they can’t understand the problem additionally they then show it to their sofer and he says that it’s fine so everyone forgets about it. BUT rav Yisroel reisman and rav Daniel kleinman are saying that this method of making retzuos is new and its passul so why are they doing this to Klal Yisroel?? So ask your local posek what he paskened. But I repeat most people don’t know about this issue
Seichel hatorahParticipantnowadays they make almost all the retzuos with the shellac. and the reason that you dont know about this is since all the sofrim are ignoring the issue BUT rav shmuel kamenetsky rav shlomo miller rav dovid feinstein rav yaakov forcheimer rav moshe sternbauch rav feivel cohen are NOT agreeing to this heter so everyone is being tricked! rabbi reisman and rabbi kleinman tried to fight this but they were shut down by all the sofrim. BE AWARE DONT BE BLIND!

GET NEW ONES TODAY! maybe you should borrow someone elses in the meantime these faulty retzuos are a bor birishus harabim
