    When r’ boruch kaplan zatza”l asked the brisker rav if he can travel to america, the rav, who generally advised people not to travle to america told him “mit zi kents du forren” – i.e/ it being that he was married to rebbetzin Kaplan he had no need to worry about becoming otd.

    Twenty years r’ boruch visited the brisker rov in e”y. When the brisker saw him he said you should know i have been worrying about you for twenty years – whether i gave you the right advice. now that i see you have remained a frum yid i can relax.

    His son R’ nechemyia eventually learnt in brisk in e”y and married a grand daughter of the brisker rov/

    iced, the state of israel is a democracy where there is a fair system of one man one vote. In fact many arabs have secretly admitted that they preffered living under israeli comtrol than under the PA.

    No offence mrs. katz, but the american developed their immigration laws years earlier, as a necessity to their country, while the british introduced their white paper in the 1930’s deliberately to curb jewish refugee influx into israel.

    BTW, R’ Avrohom supposedly davens sometimes without a minyan, and i doubt he takes the brisker leniencies and not the stringencies.

    I think that the halacha that someone who starts with a chacham has to act as if he is in in nidui and not wear his shoes for thirty days. Am i correct?

    Surely there are important halachot pertaining to how to talk about kings and elected leaders too? Why do we allow so much tirade against the american president?
