the amazing rebbetzin kanievsky a’h, used to recommend learning 2 halachos of loshon horo every day. a big segulah! ( the sefer ” praying with fire ” is also excellent !

Les Miserables– best novel ever written–try to get the abridged edition (a few hundred pages ) very uplifting!
