HaGaon HaRav Amram Yitzchok Zachs ZTL was niftar on Monday night the eve of 20 Kislev 5773 in Bnei Braks Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital. The late Slobodka rosh yeshiva was 86.
The rav, who took ill in the past months, served as rosh yeshiva for over half a century.
The levaya will take place today, Tuesday, beginning at 11:00am from the yeshiva, 11 Rav Sar Street in Bnei Brak, followed by kvura in the Bnei Brak beis hachaim. Shiva will be in the home of the late rosh yeshiva, 15 Rav Sar Street.
