PHOTO: Sloatsburg Mincha Area Officially Opens – Hundreds Stop To Daven

m

As previously reported by YWN Catskills, the Sloatsburg Mincha Area officially opened today, with hundreds of people stopping to Daven.

Askonim worked tirelessly together with the NY State Police and the Thruway Authority to ensure that the area would be available for those seeking tefilla b’tzibbur on their way Upstate.

Rabbi Abe Friedman, a Police Chaplain who oversees the operation alongside his brother Rabbi Yoel Friedman, tells YWN Catskills that Minyanim at the Mincha/Maariv area will begin at 5:00 and will go on until 10:30 PM on Thursdays.

Please follow the rules that were set in place (see previous article for list.)
