A vehicle overturned on Route 17 early Friday morning, with serious injuries reported.

The crash happened just after 1:00AM, on Route 17 Eastbound between Exits 122 and 123. There were two vehicles involved, with one overturned. The two occupants in that vehicle were trapped in the car, and extrication was needed. As can be seen in the above photo, a passerby tried getting one of the trapped victims out before emergency personnel arrived.

One victim was airlifted to the Westchester Trauma Center, and another was taken by ground to the Orange County Medical Center.

Kiyas Joel Hatzolah Paramedics were on the scene as well as the Goshen Fire Department, EMS, and the New York State Police.
