PHOTOS: Motorcyclist Airlifted After Colliding With Minivan Full Of Children In Swan Lake


A motorcyclist was airlifted after colliding with a vehicle in Swan Lake on Sunday evening.

Catskills Hatzolah received multiple calls at around 6:20PM reporting a motorcycle had collided with a minivan full of children on Route 55 near Blanchard Road.

The motorcyclist was transported by Catskills Hatzolah to Catskill Regional Medical Center, where he was being flow by Lifenet-75 to a trauma center. He reportedly had serious injuries.

An additional 3 victims were being transported by Hatzolah to local hospitals – all in stable condition.

The Swan Lake Fire Department, Mobile-Medics, the Sullivan County Sheriff Department as well as the NY State Police were on the scene.

The cause of the crash was being investigated.
