The families of two students killed in the Parkland, Florida, school shooting are suing the maker and seller of the weapon used in the attack.
The families of Jaime Guttenberg and Alex Schachter say American Outdoor Brands and the Tactical Supply store are complicit in the use of an AR-15 style rifle to kill 14 students and three staff members at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. 14. The lawsuit was filed Wednesday.
The lawsuit also calls into question a 2001 Florida law that prohibits state and local governments from suing gun manufacturers if their products are used in unlawful ways. That law doesn’t mention lawsuits by victims or their families.

There are no words to describe what rish’us this is. It should be obvious that a gun manufacturer is no more responsible for crimes committed with its products than a knife or car manufacturer is responsible for crimes committed with its products. Imagine suing Ford because a drive-by shooter was driving one of their cars, or because someone driving one of their cars hit you! That is how frivolous this is, and yet the enemies of our freedoms persist in bringing these suits, just in order to cost the defendants money and drive them into bankruptcy.
That is why both the USA and Florida banned such suits. These parents are malicious evil people. I hope the judge not only throws out the lawsuit but imposes heavy sanctions on these evil people. THEY should be driven into poverty and lose their houses for doing such a wicked thing. They’re upset their children were murdered? Go after the murderer. But of course he has no money so they lash out at innocent strangers.

this is a frivolous suit that would be thrown out immediately if it doesnt show up in front of an activist judge.
