TEHILLIM: Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Lakewood Hit-and-Run Crash

A man is in critical condition Wednesday night, after the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lakewood.

The crash happened at around 8:30PM at the intersection of New Hampshire Ave and Route 88, TLS reports. The force of the crash sent the 24-year-old motorcyclist flying nearly 200 feet.

Lakewood Hatzolah Paramedics rushed the man to the Jersey Shore Trauma Center, where he is in critical condition, with various injuries. At around 11:20PM he was being taken into emergency surgery.

Lakewood Police are investigating the incident, and are looking for the vehicle which fled the scene.
