Annual Neo Nazi Event In Europe “Dried Out” By Residents & Police

German police in the eastern German state of Saxony confiscated 4,200 liters of beer from a neo-Nazi Festival on Friday, after a court prohibited a right-wing extremist event from serving alcohol.

The annual Festival of the ‘Shield & the Sword’, is an event that attracts neo-Nazis, arriving from all areas of Germany, Poland and other nations.

This year, the police decided the event will be alcohol free. Organizers turned to a court in Dresden to challenge the police policy, but the petition was rejected in light of the fact that in past years, the festival ended in riots and violence, which was ‘sparked’ by alcohol consumption, Yoav Levi reports via Twitter.

As a result of the new policy, police confiscated no less than 4,200 liters of beer, which seriously impacted the moral of participants in the annual festival.

The resident of the small city, with a population of 2,400 residents, together with the local monastery, organized, and together, purchased all the beer that was available so the neo-Nazis would not have a drop to drink before the event either, making sure the annual festival was dry and alcohol free.
