Mexico Vows To Take Legal Action Against U.S. After Deadly El Paso Shooting

Mexico on Sunday threatened to take legal action against the United States for failing to protect its citizens after this weekend’s mass shooting in the border city of El Paso.

Of the 20 people gunned down at a Walmart at the Cielo Vista Mall, at least three were Mexican citizens, and Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard promised Mexico City will act.

Of the 26 injured in the attack, at least nine were Mexican nationals, according to the government.

Ebrard called Saturday’s shooting an “act of barbarism.”

  1. haha that’s a joke!
the cartels are at war in the streets of Mexico and bystanders get shot all the time.
he can join forces with ilhan Omar, fix his country, and then get back to us!

  2. The U.S. should announce lawsuits for all the border patrol agents who have been injured and killed and for the U.S. citizens killed by the Mexican drug cartels. We’ll see how long this idiot takes to back down from his threats.

  3. Goofball. How does he expect America to offer protection from these home grown domestic terrorists? Gum laws? These goons get guns illegally anyway. The Mexican crime gangs get legal guns through the Democrats in Washington.

  4. For a country where Americans have been murdered at the highest rate in decades, and where thousands of its citizens are gunned down annually, the hypocrisy is breathtaking.

  5. Just curious to know if they are as vigorous in protecting their citizens while they are in Mexico I have numerous wealthy friends that need body guards to prevent kidnapping

  6. Trump’s reaction to this will certainly be interesting. He’s still upset with Mexico for refusal to pay the invoice he sent for the wall.

  7. What a hypocrite. Let him worry about his own sorry Country first. There were 33,341.00 murders in Mexico last year. Marcelo couldn’t care less. Just like the Democrats, he wants to politicize this tragedy and pile on the US President. Sort of a get-back at the POTUS for his comments regarding the wall.
