A man scaled a traffic pole, and mounted himself on a traffic light in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday.
The incident happened at the intersection of West 36th Street near 6th Avenue at around 2:00PM.
Video footage posted below show throngs of people watching the man, as a police van awaited the arrival of the NYPD’s Emergency Service Units.
Police arrived and took the man into custody, and EMS transported him to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
