NY Post Refuses To Retract or Apologize

nypThe New York Post is standing by its cover story about the grisly murder of Menachem Stark.

“The Post does not say Mr. Stark deserved to die but our reporting showed that he had many enemies, which may have led to the commission of this terrible crime,” a spokesperson for the paper told Capital late Sunday afternoon. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of loss.”

  1. My thoughts and prayers are with the NYP at this time. That rag deserves to die. A widespread boycott would be a good deterrent.

  2. Dont step into any store in our communities selling this discusting paper.
It felt like Nazi Germany walking by tbe newsstand this morning.
    100%
    Shame on this newspaper!

  3. 5, it wasn’t Nazi Germany. The Post did this just for that reason. They are a slimy paper and they do sensational headlines.
But one thing to please keep in mind is that the NYP did not murder the victim, someone else did. Are people more upset at the NYP or at the murderer?

  4. Murder is always a horrible tragic act, but people need to remember that if this were a mob hit it would be sad yet justified or expected, but because this individual belonged to a certain jewish religious sect there is upheavel in the community. Slumlords, criminals, are hated and remembered by our citizens because on many occasions innocent hard working people are forced to live in horrid conditions due to bureacracy and lawyers and our courts. So while the jewish community continues to believe this was due to his religion the general consensus from the many many articles we read about this man was real apathy because he seems to just be a bad human being!!! All our sympathies go out to his wife and family unless she knew about his dirty lifestyle.

  5. Don’t go to stores that advertise in the. Post and tell them why. But hundreds of thousands need to do that for it to make an impact. Also It ggoes without saying not yo buy the paper or go to stores selling that rag

  6. Maybe tasteless headline, but anti-Semitic? It was apparently based on a law enforcement’s comment that he had a lot of enemies and they would not know where to start in the investigfation. Also, a family member using the words “tough and shrewd” to describe his business dealings makes one wonder. Hashem yerachem.
