Donald Trump is apparently no longer a fan of his former tight buddies at the Fox & Friends morning show after he accused the hosts of “botching” poll numbers “on purpose.”
“Fox & Friends just really botched my poll numbers, no doubt on purpose,” Trump raged on Truth Social. “That show has been terrible – gone to the ‘dark side.’ They quickly quote the big Turning Point Poll victory of almost 60 points over the number two Republican, and then hammer me with outliers.”
Trump was referring to the hosts throwing some cold water on a recent straw poll showing Trump dominating the GOP 2024 field. In the poll, Trump received support from 79% of conference attendees, but the Fox & Friends hosts were quick to point out that it was a very narrow poll.
“Keep in mind, Turning Point, a group of young Republican conservative activists from all across the country… I’m thinking about that is a little different than a couple of other polls that we have seen over the last couple of weeks,” said host Steve Doocy. “Weeks ago in Florida, Blueprint Polling did a poll – DeSantis leads the former president in all age groupings.”

Trump is very consistent. Anything that doesn’t show the story the way he wants it shown is automatically fake news. He lives in a dream world and someone should take him to the Home.
Trump says Fox has gone off the cliff?? Perhaps YWN has brought in a temporary headline writer with dyslexia because the regular guy is up in the mountains for Summer vacation.
Mr President- if only you’d listen to me you may have a shot at running (and perhsps winning) in 2024. Just 2 pieces of advise. #1 – the country wants to move on from 2020 regardless of what really happened -and we may never really know – but you need to focus your energy on 2024 and remind the American people of your successes whilst you were present and make the case why you deserve another term. #2 – choose your fights carefully and by that I mean don’t be so quick to go after your few friends left in the media even if they say something that you may not like because you are going to need them if you decide to run. And the same goes with republican senators and congressmen, you are going to need them all to help you run both in the primaries and in the general election so don’t lash out at them as you’ve done many times in the past hust because you don’t like something they said about you. Take my advise for what it’s worth and you may have a chance…..

There is only one major news media that doesn’t regard Trump as a jerk, so Trump denounces them. All politicians understand, except Trump, that winning elections requires expanding on your base, not limiting yourself to your base.
If he thinks that condemning Fox for botching the polls will gain him any voters, then he’s dumber than we thought.
My fellow Republicans. It was great that בס”ד Mr. Trump was able to pull off the miraculous upset that he did in 2016 and accomplish all the good things that he did during his presidency. However, with this terribly narcissistic personality of his, he cannot continue to be our candidate for president in 24 because miracles don’t happen every day and people (other than the white supremacists) just aren’t going to vote for him.
I feel sorry for the loser now that Fox which is owned by his friend Rupert Murdoch actually broadcast words that Trump didn’t like. Fox is the only network which didn’t broadcast the prime time January 6th hearings out of deference to Trump and now he lashes out at them over their reporting on a poll.
Should Fox only report poll numbers that Trump likes after calling him for approval?
@Cool masmid. Very sound advice, but if Trump would listen to your advice, he would not be Trump. He won’t move on from 2020. Not a chance. That’s the main reason why we need to look elsewhere.

Even NewsMax is now mentioning OTHER 2024 Republican options while still highlighting Trump as the “front-runner” among Trumpkopfs. NewsMax is owned by Trump’s friend (and Mar a Lago regular) Chris Ruddy. Six months ago, even mentioning the possibility of “others” getting the 2024 nomination would have been total apikorsus at NewsMax.
