It’s over. The last pretense has been stripped away. Tucker Carlson — the man who spent decades insisting on patriotism and Western values — has finally said the quiet part so loud that even his own allies can’t cover for him anymore.
In a new episode of his show, Carlson looked into the camera and declared that “Sharia law has made Islamic societies more advanced than the West.” He said Western cities are in “moral and physical decay.” He gushed about the “stability,” “pride,” and “self-confidence” of theocratic Gulf states — countries that stone apostates, persecute Christians, and have spent centuries making Jewish existence a crime.
His defenders, pathetically, argue that he never explicitly called for Sharia law in America. Congratulations. The bar has now been set at “did not openly call for theocracy.” By that standard, Carlson squeaks by. By any other standard — the standard of a man who claims to love his country, who claims to be a Christian, who built his brand on defending the West — he is an abject, humiliating fraud.
For years, critics who pointed to the logical endpoint of Carlson’s worldview were dismissed as hysterical. He was just asking questions. He was just challenging consensus. He didn’t really mean it. Now he has looked into the camera and told you exactly what he thinks — that the civilization built on liberty, pluralism, and the traditions he pretends to revere, is rotting and inferior to systems of religious authoritarian control.
Tucker Carlson is not a conservative. He is not a patriot. He is a man who despises his own country, holds Jews in contempt, and has found a spiritual home among the enemies of everything America claims to stand for.

He has a point. When a society only lives for materialism and has no higher goals, it falls apart.
Actually Muslim countries were way more advanced in everything science, mathematics and much more. See reshonim in Spain under Muslim golden era! Europe was in shambles and so were their roads.

He is indeed right that the West is “in moral and physical decay.”
He could also be right that the theocratic Gulf States do have “stability”, “pride” and “self-confidence”.
The actual conclusion, then – unlike your biased and baseless conclusion – is that the West needs to be more moral and reverse its decay. Are you claiming that he proposes replacing the law in this country with Sharia law? If not, then you really should try to be more objective, not needlessly bashing.
Without sharia courts in the US Moslems would not be able to settle disputes, issue divorces etc, same as if you eliminated Beis Din for Jews or Cannon courts for RCCs.
After everything is said and done, it is very sad that someone who repels “western values” (inmorality, agnosticism, materialism,etc) is viewed as the enemy.

While the West is in moral decay, the Islamic world is comprised of 2 billion Muslims and many cultures and you can’t lump them all together. Some countries are stable, but some stable countries have governments who support global terrorism, for example Qatar. But the majority of the Islamic world is all war and terrorism and the brutality and degradation of women. To admire Sharia law that is nothing short of terrorism itself is insanity.
