This is the peak of the year for Kever Rachel: a lot goes into it, including meetings with military officers to ensure proper security arrangements for the great crowds expected to enter Beit Lechem.

For the refreshment of the public, beverages will be available at the point where people change buses. And when they come back, they will find an enormous tent ready with food for them. In fact, a major seudas yahrtzeit will be served on Motzoei Shabbos, for the tens of thousands expected.

And what about electricity, water, lighting, lavatories, etc? All this is being taken care of by Mosdos Kever Rachel. They will also see to music and loudspeakers, as befits the festive atmosphere of such a significant day!

A particularly moving moment will be the planned Siyum HaShas. In fact, since last year’s yahrtzeit the entire Shas was completed several times by the kollel of Mosdos Kever Rachel and other participants. Now, Jews all over the world are invited to join in for next year’s siyum hashas.

Let us not forget that the Book of Tehillim is recited in its entirety every day at Kever Rachel, by a special kollel minyan under the auspices of Mosdos Kever Rachel. On the yahrtzeit, the whole Jewish world will join them by reciting together the last ten chapters of Tehillim. Hashem hears the prayers of the public, as Chazal teach us, and this surely applies to the massive worldwide public that will participate in this recitation of Tehillim.
