In separate interviews airing Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered strikingly similar assessments of the status of the conflict with Iran.
Speaking to Sharyl Attkisson on her “Full Measure” program, Trump declared that Iran is “militarily defeated,” even as he acknowledged that the conflict is not yet fully resolved.
“They’re militarily defeated in their own minds. Maybe they don’t know that, but I think they do, because they deal with them,” Trump said. “We cannot ever let Iran have a nuclear weapon, but they are militarily defeated. They have no navy, they have no air force, they have no anti-aircraft weaponry, they have no radar. They have no leaders. Their leaders are gone. The first set, the A team is gone, the B team is gone, and part of the C team is gone.”
Trump also highlighted the importance of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, citing his decision to terminate the Iran nuclear deal and the successful attack on Iran’s nuclear sites eight months ago.
“If we didn’t do that, they would have already blown up Israel. In my opinion, Israel would have been blown up with a nuclear weapon,” Trump said. “If I didn’t terminate the Iran nuclear deal, they would have had it, and they would have used it on Israel and the Middle East right now and maybe beyond.”
When asked about the status of the war and the removal of nuclear materials from Iran, Trump said, “No, I didn’t say that. I said they are defeated, but that doesn’t mean they’re done. We could go in for two more weeks and do every single target. We have certain targets that we wanted, and we’ve done probably 70% of them, but we have other targets that we could conceivably hit, but even if we didn’t do that, there would just be final touches.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes,” Netanyahu struck a similar tone, arguing that the war with Iran is “not over” due to the ongoing presence of highly enriched uranium and other challenges.
“I think it accomplished a great deal. But it’s not over, because there’s still nuclear material, enriched uranium, that has to be taken out of Iran,” Netanyahu said. “There is still enrichment sites that have to be dismantled. There are still proxies that Iran supports. There are ballistic missiles that they still want to produce.”
When pressed on how the highly enriched uranium would be removed from Iran, Netanyahu suggested that it could be done physically with an agreement in place, citing assurances from Trump.
“President Trump has said to me, ‘I want to go in there,’ and I think it can be done physically. That’s not the problem,” Netanyahu said. “If you have an agreement and you go in and you take it out, why not? That’s the best way.”
However, the Israeli leader repeatedly dodged questions about potential military options and the timeline for achieving Iran’s disarmament, emphasizing the importance of the mission without providing specifics.
“You’re going to ask me these questions. I’m going to dodge them because I’m not going to talk about our military possibilities, plans or anything of the kind,” Netanyahu said. “I’m not going to give a timetable to it, but I’m going to say that’s a terrifically important mission.”

We are witnessing in front of our eyes Biblical level events where Esav and Yaakov are uniting to fight evil in the world, especially the evil of jihadist Islam.
Of course we must do everything possible to make Israel into an authentic Jewish state.
But when President Trump, the most powerful man in the world, is allied with the Israeli Prime Minister, then those Satmar and N.K. preaching about alleged violation of Three Oaths are themselves violating the Three Oaths.
Every day Trump had another story. The war is already won. The war is over. The war is not over. Iran is begging for a deal etc. Bibi and Trump have gotten themselves into a mess that they have no idea how to get out of. They are desperate and look weak and confused. Bibi spent his life fighting every diplomatic solution in favor of his delusion that simply bombing Iran would solve the issue. Iranians have not risen up. Iran’s nuclear material is not destroyed. Instead Iran has the global economy in a chokehold and everyone is suffering financially.
Right Jew: Esav has not joined with Yaakov. Perhaps you are unaware but virtually the entire world opposes this war. Europeans and Asians will not support it. Even the vast majority of Americans oppose it. It is an epic disaster. Aside from Somaliland Israel is alone in this world
When you don’t have Siyaya Dishmaya you get this confused mess.
Crazy
You are obsessed against the greatest president America has ever had. The President because of his love for the Jewish people the orthdox Jew has in fact this week asked all American Jews to keep shabbos just as the munkatcher rebbe at his daughter’s wedding said the same thing. There is a reason Trump merited grandchildren walking around with hanging tzitzohs and certainly a chelek share in the world to come while all the liberal reform clergy are on their way to gehinom. Obama gave Iran billions of cash to kill Jews. Biden was no better.
crazy,
Europeans, almost all of whom hate Israel don’t support the war? No sane person cares about them except a filthy, Nazi Kapo like you. By all means, move there so your good buddies can slowly maul you to death then burn your diseased body to ashes and scatter them to the winds!
