Petira Of Daughter-In-Law Of Rosh Yeshiva Ner Yisroel, & Daughter Of Rav Efrayim Zeraivin

candle94.gifYWN regrets to inform of the sudden Petira of Mrs. Lifsha Feldman A”H (45) of Yerushalayim – daughter-in-law of Rav Aaron Feldman Shlita, the Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Yisroel in Baltimore, MD, and daughter of Rav Efrayim Zeraivin Shlita.

Hatzolah and MDA Paramedics arrived at her home in Ramat Shlomo this morning and found her in cardiac arrest. She was transported to Hadassah Har Hatzofim Hospital, where she was R”L pronounced dead.

She was the founder and menaheles of “Gan Meshi” for children with Cerebral Palsy.

Her sudden Petira is a tremendous loss for all of Klal Yisroel – but especially to the special needs community.

Her father Rav Efrayim Zeraivin Shlita, is a Rosh Kollel in Lakewood, a Talmid of Hagon Rav Aron Kotler ZATZAL, and was in fact the Mechaber of his Seforim known as the “Mishnas Reb Aron”. Her father-in-law is the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Ner Yisroel in Baltimore, Rav Aaron Feldman Shlita.

She leaves behind a husband, Rav Shlomo Feldman Shlita, who is the Mechaber of “Shaarei Daas” on Taharos, and 10 children R”L.

  1. OY – Boruch Dayan Hoemes.

This is the 4th Petira posted on YWN since Shabbos and the 3 weeks are first starting tomorrow. We must all call out for Rachmanus from the RBS”O.

  2. We MUST be misbonen and try to understand HIS message to us when HaSh-m takes away this 45 year old tzadekes and just a few days ago the 42 year old Hatzala fellow – each leaving 10 yesomim!!! May HaSh-m have mercy on us and may we effort to hear what He is telling us, to do tshuva shlaima and not wait for tragedies to get closer and more intense.

  4. This is so tragic…The three weeks are beginning tomorrow. We know WHY we lost the Beis Hamikdash. We know WHY we are in Galus. Let’s work on the Sinas Chinam and Machlokes this year. Everyone. We need Mashiach to come.

  5. Diet and lifestyle are the buzzwords today – in the zechus of the rebbetzin, z’l, if a even a few of us say no to extra junk and acidizing foods – even a little, she would have a great merit — we are rachmanim benei rachmanim, but we need to eat with emes.

I just saw a beautiful d’var torah about sugar: the nachash was cursed to eat dirt (equivalent to ashes) – in other words, whatever it wants (as if to say, Hashem doesn’t care about him.) Aifar (ashes) is gematria (numerically equivalent in hebrew) as ‘sugar’ (aifar: alef-paih-raish [with the word itself]=1+80+200=381+1=382; sukar [hebr. for sugar]: samech-chof-raish=60+20+200=382. If we want Hashem to care more for us body AND soul, then we can’t load up on noshy food and say ‘look how sweet life is’ — we have to take the challenge and tell Him that after salad or ‘bitter greentzen’.
