A 250-year-old Sefer Torah from Krakow was brought to Eretz Yisroel on Tuesday from New York. Kevin Schreiber, one 200�on an aliyah flight brought the Torah with him. He told the JTA that the Sefer Torah�was hidden during World War II in an ancient Shul, and was found in 1998.

C’mon YW editor, tell the whole story. A huge group of Jews already over 3000 for this year have arrived in Israel via Nefesh BNefesh, and on Tuesday Dr. Schreiber who is making aliyah with his wife and 3 kinderlach brought with him this sefer torah from Krakow to a new home in Eretz Yisroel.
