Home Robbed In Ramapo – Suspects Said They Were From ‘Electric Company’


In an identical incident to those occurring in Brooklyn, two people posing as “utility workers” have just robbed a home in Ramapo, MonseyScoop.com is reporting.

The incident occurred at 24 Montebello Road near Mile Road, around 2:30PM, Thursday afternoon. Two suspects arrived at the home, and stated they were from the utility company. One perp took the homeowner outside to the backyard and held him there, while the other burglarized the home. They both fled in a dark minivan. They reportedly stole a purse, cash, and other items.
