Report: Bombs Used in Attacks Abroad Similar

According to an ABC News report the bombs used in attacks against the Israeli Embassies in India and Georgia are similar to the one found in Bangkok , quoting Israeli Ambassador Yitzchak Shoham.

Israel Radio quoted the report, explaining the bombs were designed in such a way that they could be struck onto vehicles with magnets, like the ones that were discovered and neutralized.

“They are similar to the ones used in Delhi and in Tbilisi,” Shoham said. “From that we can assume that there is the same network of terror.”

Since the attacks and attempted attacks, Israel’s Foreign Ministry has instructed diplomatic missions around the world to move to high alert, fearing Iranian terrorists will continue efforts to strike out against Israeli targets worldwide.

In addition, a Kuwaiti newspaper last week reported on a thwarted assassination attempt against Ehud Barak in Singapore, a report that was not confirmed or denied by officials back in Jerusalem.

The ABC report quotes Defense Minister Barak as saying “The attempted terrorist attack in Bangkok proves once again that Iran and its proxies continue to perpetrate terror. The recent terror attacks are yet another example of this.”
