Delayed Earlier this week YWN-ISRAEL reported the Iron Dome system was going to be deployed in the Gush Dan area but it now appears this will not occur in the immediate future as planned.

It appears the news of the decision to but the missile defense system in the heart of Gush Dan resulted in more than a bit of panic, with residents insisting if this is being done there must be something they are not telling us.

Others feel the reason is the recent increase in attacks and tensions in the south, compelling the decision-makers to reevaluate the decision since the Iron Dome is needed in the southern area.

Whatever the case, it does appear that for the time being, the Iron Dome deployment in Gush Dan is on hold.
