MK (Yahadut HaTorah) Rav Moshe Gafne told members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee on Monday, 4 Adar 5772 that outgoing High Court of Justice President Dorit Beinish declared the Tal Law illegal �in her election campaign and during prime time�.

What the veteran legislator was saying is that Beinish�s timing was anything but coincidental, timed to have the maximum impact in the hope of using the court ruling to jumpstart her entry into the political arena.

Following Beinish�s decision last week, Gafne was among the first to respond, the court�s ruling changes nothing and the avreichim learning torah will continue doing just that.
