National Security Advisor Yaakov Amidror told the media that now, following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu�s meeting in the White House, the inner circle officials will have to �digest, discuss and evaluate� the situation.

�Ultimately, the decision will be premised on Israel�s security interests and on the premise the state was established to permit us to defend ourselves� added Amidror.

Amidror and US National Security Advisor Tom Donilon were present during the meeting between the prime minister and US President Barak Obama. �We did not just speak of the price of an attack, but it is clear to all that there will be a very high price if Iran achieves nuclear independence�.

Speaking with Israeli correspondents in Washington, Amidror stated that now, America�s position is clear to Israel and vice versa. �There is a difference between one who is in the Mideast and another far away. Clearly there is a difference between great power with great abilities and a small nation, but nevertheless, these differences do not take away Israel�s freedom of decision. This may sound somewhat like rhetoric but it is not�.

He added that Israel did not ask America to attack and it did not receive a refusal. The goal for the meeting was achieved. It is now clear that Iran is a top priority and there are clear positions.
