Miriam Monsonega HY�D, 8, was one of the victims in today�s shooting attack at the Otzar HaTorah School in France. The attack occurred at about 8:00am on Monday, 25 Adar 5772. A gunman who rode by on a two-wheeled motorized vehicle opened fire using both 9mm and 45 caliber weapons.

Miriam was the daughter of the principal as well as a grandchild of one of the elders of the Moroccan community, Rabbi Yehoshua Maimon, who is also a member of the High Rabbinical Court. The rav is a resident of Jerusalem�s Makor Baruch neighborhood.

The levaya for Miriam is planned to be held in Eretz Yisrael. There will be a procession in France before flying the meis to Israel.
