An off-duty NYPD officer was shot in the Bronx early Sunday, police said.

The officer’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Officials declined to give further details. It wasn’t immediately clear if any suspects were in custody.

Mayor Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly plan to hold a news briefing at St. Barnabas Hospital later Sunday morning.
