Israel Police are preparing for the opening of the Beit HaKerem Tunnel as part of the new Ahihad-Carmiel Israel Railways line on 29 Elul.

Part of the preparedness includes a major training exercise to assess police, fire, EMS and other emergency services operating in the new tunnel. One of the scenarios included in the day�s training was the emergency evacuation of a train in the tunnel under difficult conditions.
