NYPD Investigates Fatal NYPD Shooting

nypdn1Two New York City police officers who fatally shot a teenage boy who they said pointed a gun at them have been placed on administrative duty.

Police say Kimani Gray was with a group of other males in Brooklyn Saturday night. Police say 16-year-old left when he saw police in an unmarked car. Authorities say the boy was acting suspiciously. The officers identified themselves as they approached him.

According to police, the boy then pointed a .38-caliber revolver at the officers who responded by firing 11 shots, striking him several times. Gray was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

Police say Gray’s revolver was loaded with four live rounds.

The officers were listed in stable condition after treatment for trauma and tinnitus. The NYPD did not release their names.

  1. Why is the “race” of this boy not given? Why were the officers put on “administrative duty” if the kid pointed a loaded gun at them? Is Ray Kelly so petrified of Al Sharpton? Is the Chief of Police of the City of New York so scared of being called a “racist”? If it was a white or dare I say “an Orthodox Jew” (Gidione Bush ring a bell?) who was gunned down, the officers would be given a promotion. Liberalism will get us all killed!
