Report: IDF’s Civil Administration Approving Illegal Arab Construction

constnThe IDF Civil Administration is retroactively approving “thousands” of illegal Palestinian buildings located throughout Yehuda and Shomron without the knowledge or approval of the cabinet. These structures are primarily in areas designed as “C” under the Oslo Agreement, which refers to areas under total Israeli control.

In a recent plan pertaining to the Jordan Valley area distributed a number of days ago to officials, including Jordan Valley Regional Council head David Elchiani, the IDF has given its kashrus retroactively to two Arab neighborhoods built illegally on state land. Some of the existing Arab structures impinge on expansion plans of area Jewish communities, the daily Makor Rishon reports. Instead of carrying out demolition orders the Civil Administration decided to retroactively legalize some 300 of these Arab buildings.

The Regavim organization has documented that thousands of illegal Arab structures were retroactively legalized by the Civil Administration in recent years including structures near Maale Adumim and hundreds of housing units between Elon Shvut and Ein Tzurim in the Gush Etzion district.

  1. It is clear from here that the most important requirement to work for the Idf civil administration is to be of low character with a sub-standard degree of intelligence. These dopes are wondering how to bring down housing prices. Well if they would give away state land for free to their own citizens instead of giving it away to our bloodthirsty nasty cousins-perhaps they would see better results
