Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio says he’s among those “anxiously awaiting” investigation results from the fatal Metro-North derailment in the Bronx.

De Blasio said Monday that he’s taken that train line “many, many times” and knows that curve very well. His mother used to live in Hastings, in Westchester County.

He called the tragedy “very sobering” and said his thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.
