FM Lieberman on the Growing Iranian Threat

liebermanForeign Minister Avigdor Lieberman will leave on Wednesday 12 Adar I 5774 on a visit to France. In Paris, FM Lieberman will meet with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Minister of the Interior Manuel Valls and members of Parliament, as well as with representatives of organizations working to strengthen relations between Israel and France, and with leaders of the French Jewish community.

FM Lieberman will also meet in Paris with OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) Secretary General José Ángel Gurría.

FM Lieberman commented on Tuesday, ahead of his departure that “Israel and France have a broad basis of cooperation in many fields and many areas of the world. France also plays an important role today on international arena in preventing the continued advance of the Iranian nuclear program. The new missile tests carried out yesterday by Iran are further proof that their intentions have not changed, and the Iranians are not even trying to conceal the fact that they are a warmongering state. The only change which has taken place in Iran is that it now threatens world peace behind a mask of smiles.”
