NYC: Snow Alert Issued Ahead of Tuesday Morning Commute

nycspThe city Department of Sanitation is issuing yet another snow alert, this time for Tuesday.

It goes into effect at 3 a.m. in anticipation of another messy morning commute.

The Office of Emergency Management has also issued a travel advisory.

A winter weather advisory is in effect, with three to five inches of snow expected to fall in the five boroughs.

The city says that plows and salt spreaders are being prepped.

Alternate side parking is suspended until Saturday, but you’ll still have to pay the meters.

Despite the large amount of snow this winter, the Department of Sanitation says that they have enough salt to deal with another storm.

The Department of Transportation is also warning Staten Island Ferry commuters that there may be some delays during the morning rush.
