Police were called to investigate hate graffiti found in Yishuv Bat Ayin on Wednesday morning, 23 Nissan. Graffiti included “death to Arabs” and “Police prohibited from entering”.

Similar occurrences have taken place in the community in the past and while most residents have spoken out clearly opposing such actions, authorities view the community as one of an extremist hashkafa. Leaders of the yishuv have often released official statements to the media, yet Bat Ayin is still portrayed as being the type of community supporting such graffiti despite the fact officials insist these acts represent the actions of a small minority and are in no way indicative of the entire community.
