Greenfield Applauds NYPD for Detaining Suspects in Menachem Stark Murder

nypdrCouncilman David G. Greenfield praised the NYPD for their hard work in finding and taking into custody the suspected murderers of Menachem Stark. On January 2, 2014 the 39-year-old father of eight was abducted outside of his Williamsburg office and was found murdered in Great Neck, Long Island the following day.

“The callous murder of Menachem Stark shocked not just the Jewish community, but all people of good conscience. Certainly, his family can have no peace until every person responsible for this depraved crime is brought to justice,” said Councilman David Greenfield. “Today’s actions by the NYPD are a testament to their commitment to solving this case. I applaud the NYPD and Mayor Bill de Blasio for putting every resource into solving this heinous murder. We will now have to work hard to make sure that these murderers never see the light of day again.”
