Ketzaleh to PM Netanyahu: It’s Time For You to Resign

bibnFormer MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh) released a message to the media calling upon Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to resign.

Katz writes “At this time when all of Beis Yisrael mourns the three murdered youths, I call upon you to vacate your seat for a neighbor who is more qualified.

“In the past six year during which you have served as prime minister you have failed in deterrence efforts against the Arabs.

“During these years you have systematically prohibited Jews from building in Eretz Yisrael, even in Yerushalayim and the Golan Heights. You limit their ability to receive the required permits simply because they are Jews, thereby depressing the construction, building and paving of roads.

“You have been told numerous times that our discrimination against Jews weakens their legitimate right to live in these areas.

“Your irresolute actions as it were are well thought out and have led to the Arabs including those in Knesset, on Har Habayis, throughout Yehuda and Shomron, in Um el-Fahm and the Technion to feel this is their home and the Jews are simply temporary visitors.

“After failing to deter Arabs from murdering Jews, resign your post to permit a prime minister who knows how to act with respect towards the Jews and with a stronger hand against those who rise up to destroy us”.

  1. 1. He is a politican that wasn’t reelected.

    2. As long as Bayit Yehudi insists on conscripting hareidim, precluding a Likud-Hareidi-Dati Leumi coalition, the most likely replacement for Natanyahu would be a coalition that is radically to the left of the current regime in terms of national security.

  2. I agree that we should build, build, build. The more of a presence we have, the less they will have. It is a suitable non-violent response to their violence.

  3. Please let’s be careful not to post any postings that will create machlokes between people. Perhaps Hashem is looking down at us now – and hoping that after our tragedy we can keep our achdus intact. Please think before you post. And if you disagree with what someone else posted or you have an opinion to offer about the posting, please write in a respectful, mentchlich way. We cannot afford to lose the achdus that we gained. It will be a desecration to the memories of Eyal, Gilad and Naftali and to their families.
