The members of the Ashdod Religious Council realize that workers and members of a chevra kadisha are in the beis chaim hours daily and there is little place to run for safety in the 45 seconds before a rocket strikes. Therefore the religious council set a portable shelter in place to provide a safe area for employees in the beis hachaim.

The head of the Ashdod Religious Council, Rabbi Ovadia Dahan ordered a portable shelter and had it set into place as rockets have already landed in the area of the beis hachaim.
