Foreign Ministry is Not Planning to Cooperate with International Investigators

liebThe bitter taste of the Goldstone Report has undoubtedly influenced their decision as Foreign Ministry and other senior officials. They have announced they do not plan to cooperate with international investigations into the Gaza warfare as many nations accuse Israel of war crimes.

South African Justice Richard Goldstone eventually retracted his hardly bias report against Israel some two years after releasing it. He was commissioned by the UN to lead the probe into Operation Cast Lead, another IDF counter-terrorism offensive against Hamas in Gaza.

In actuality, the Goldstone report which was embraced by the UN was so blatantly biased against Israel a bipartisan US Senate resolution was introduced calling on the United Nations to retract the flawed report.

At present it appears that both the IDF and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not be cooperating with international investigators planning to probe the IDF’s role in Operation Protective Edge.
