Following widespread publication of the Kosel kvitlach Facebook page and the filing of a police complaint to shut it down, the founder of the page announced the page was published as a spoof and there was never a single legitimate kvitel taken from the Kosel.
He thanks the media in particular for helping to increase the page’s popularity by reporting on the page, albeit in a negative light. A portion of the Hebrew posting appears below.
