A mortar rocket landed in the area north of Kibbutz Merom Golan on Friday evening, attributed to stray rocket fire in the ongoing Syrian civil war. B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities, injuries or reports of damage as the rocket impacted in an open area. Sirens were heard in a number of northern Golan Heights communities.

The exact location where the rocket landed was not found.
