Rockland County Community College Evacuated After Bomb Threat

A bomb threat has forced the Rockland Community College in Suffern to be evacuated Thursday morning.

Hundreds of students, staff and administrators were told to leave the campus located on 145 College Road.

The college said that all classes have been canceled for the day after a bomb threat was called in Thursday morning.

The Rockland County Sheriff Department was on scene with multiple bomb-sniffing dogs, and were going room-to-room to search for anything suspicious.

There is no word yet when the campus will reopen.

Expect traffic in the area.
