The victim of the hit-and-run in Shomron earlier this week at Alon Junction between Maale Ephraim and Migdalim, was niftar on Tuesday night the eve of 10 Kislev. Police investigators have taken three residents of the PA (Palestinian Authority) village of Kablan into custody however it is yet to be determined if the incident was an act of terror.

At present police are signaling it appears the incident was criminal and not terror in nature. The family of the victim, Avi Ben-Tzion HY”D insist the incident was a terror attack.

Ben-Tzion, 63, was found unconscious and critically injured on the ground at Alon Junction. He was transported by helicopter to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah. The niftar was a farmer who grew peppers on Moshav Nativ in the Jordan Valley. He is survived by four children.
