Yerushalmi Branch Launches Anti-Degel Campaign

5

With Yahadut Hatorah having difficulties in its election campaign, the Yerushalmi branch has come out strongly with its own campaign against Degel Hatorah. The campaign explains to voters why they should not vote for Yahadut Hatorah.

Posters are appearing in chareidi neighborhoods beginning on Sunday morning 3 Adar, posters that say “Destruction of yeshivos? Till when – no more! Enough sinas chinam and contempt of the Torah”.

The posters speak of the harm to children, citing examples in which talmidim was targeted for their affiliation. Some of the posters cite that during the past year, the Vaad L’Maan Kovod Rabboseinu” has published lists of yeshivos that have rebbes affiliated with the Bnei Torah party, instructing their followers to place them in cherem.

  1. Could somebody please explain this article. I don’t understand. I saw a poster in a chareidi neighborhood about a rebbe calling a little boy “atzitzon.” I don’t get that either.
